加减乘除one two three
seriously, i don't find anything wrong teaching science and math in english. i don't see how it would threaten our mother tongue and the malay language's status quo.
i am chinese educated, i understand how useless it is to learn science terminologies in translated, funny, long, hard to remember and difficult to write chinese words. and i never use it again.
yes, i totally support teaching science and math in english, but not partially (like now teach in english but u can choose to sit the exam in another language), but really teach and learn it in english. at the end, the malay or chinese subject is still there ba!
well, it might be true there are too many technical problems, eg: the quality of our teachers. can't even teach the kids simple math and science in english???? how f**&up it is.
i dun't understand why a bunch of old folks suddenly go to the street after silence for so many years, and why so many enforcement officers bully them as if they have nothing else to do....

The European Commission has just announced an agreement whereby English will be the official language of the European Union rather than German, which was the other possibility. As part of the negotiations, the British Government conceded that English spelling had some room for improvement and has accepted a 5- year phase-in plan that would become known as ‘Euro-English’ .
In the first year, ’s’ will replace the soft ‘c’. Sertainly, this will make the sivil servants jump with joy. The hard ‘c’ will be dropped in favour of ‘k’. This should klear up konfusion, and keyboards kan have one less letter.
There will be growing publik enthusiasm in the sekond year when the troublesome ‘ph’ will be replaced with ‘f’. This will make words like fotograf 20% shorter.
In the 3rd year, publik akseptanse of the new spelling kan be expekted to reach the stage where! more komplikated changes are possible. Governments will enkourage the removal of double letters which have always ben a deterent to akurate speling. Also, al wil agre that the horibl mes of the silent ‘e’ in the languag is disgrasful and it should go away.
By the 4th yer people wil be reseptiv to steps such as replasing ‘th’ with ‘z’ and ‘w’ with ‘v’.
During ze fifz yer, ze unesesary ‘o’ kan be dropd from vords kontaining ‘ou’ and after ziz fifz yer, ve vil hav a reil
sensi bl riten styl.
Zer vil be no mor trubl or difikultis and evrivun vil find it ezi tu understand ech oza. Ze drem of a united urop vil finali kum tru.
Und efter ze fifz yer, ve vil al be speking German like zey vunted in ze forst plas.

和人命比较，海龟蛋显得没有那么严重了。（虽然同样是滥权和知法犯法的问题）
合情合理的情节，精彩绝伦的故事发展，一名美丽的女人，最终因为钱财纠纷，被曾经睡在一起的男人们甚至有了骨肉（虽然不知道是谁的）合谋干掉。

turtle eggs

finally it appears in national paper. it is sad to see many other local and national papers kept quite on this issue.
we wait see what happen next.
KUCHING: Action can be taken against the distributor, wholesaler and those who ate turtle eggs served at an official dinner attended by some senior police officers here on Saturday night.
State Forestry Corporation managing director and chief executive officer Datuk Len Talif Salleh said investigations were being carried out on the matter.
Initial investigations showed that the eggs were brought in from West Kalimantan based on their small size and brownish colour. Turtle eggs from Pulang Talang and Pulau Satang are bigger and white.
"At this point of time, I don't want to say much about it until the investigation is completed," he said, after the opening of a seminar on the Biodiversity of Eastern Lanjak Entimau Sanctuary: Hidden Jewel of Sarawak by Assistant Minister of Resource Planning and Management Naroden Majais here.
Marine turtle species are protected worldwide, and in Sarawak they are protected animals under the Wildlife Protection Ordinance.
Anyone found guilty of possessing turtles, either dead or alive, or their parts or their eggs, is liable to be fined RM25,000 and jailed two years.
Sarawak Police Commissioner Datuk Mohmad Salleh could not be reached for comment.
The Kuching branch of the Malaysian Nature Society called for action against those who had eaten the turtle eggs.
Its chairman, Rebecca D'Cruz, said she was disappointed that turtle eggs were served at an official function.

这些照片是上个星期六在一个官方（蓝色制服的执法人员）晚宴由一位友人拍摄。
海龟在全世界是受保护的野生动物。我国政府以及砂州政府为了保育海龟动用了不少公款。
不过，受保护的海龟蛋却成为桌上佳肴。
照片由谁拍摄并不重要，重点是这并不是合成照片。
认证物证都有，还有什么话好说？
